Welcome Message from the Minister of State (Seniors)

It is a pleasure to introduce myself as the Minister of State (Seniors).

Our government recognizes the importance of seniors-related policies, programs and services. Seniors contribute enormously to our society. In addition to volunteering and mentoring, older Canadians continue to play a crucial role in the workforce.

I look forward to working with my provincial counterparts and seniors' groups, but more importantly with seniors themselves.
